Dua Lipa lanza nuevo videoclip de ‘Levitating’ con DaBaby:
Aunque ya se había lanzado con anterioridad un remix tecno de ‘Levitating’ con Madonna y Missy Elliott en el álbum de remezclas de la artista que lo acoge, «Club Future Nostalgia» , producido principalmente por The Blessed Madonna, el equipo de Dua Lipa, artista británica de origen albano-kosovar, ha decidido que sigue siendo el siguiente (quinto ya) single del álbum.
Pero ahora potenciado mediante un nuevo remix que cuenta con la participación de DaBaby en el que el popular rapero realiza la intro y se encarga la segunda estrofa. Él es uno de los autores de ‘Rockstar’, canción que interpreta junto con Roddy Ricch que ha llegado a liderar la lista de Billboard USA.

El éxito de «Future Nostalgia»
Dua Lipa es una de las cantantes internacionales más reconocidas del momento. Ya su álbum debut fue un enorme «sleeper», triunfando muy poco a poco hasta alcanzar grandes ventas tanto en USA como UK, y sumando la impresionante cifra de 4 millones de copias vendidas según Music Week, contado con singles tan sumamente millonarios como ‘New Rules’ y ‘IDGAF’, ambos con más de 1.000 millones de reproducciones en Spotify.
Con este segundo trabajo, «Future Nostalgia», y a pesar de la pandemia mundial con meses en el que las tiendas físicas estaban cerradas por ejemplo, se estima que ya lleva vendida más de 1 millón de copias (según Mediatraffic). Debido sobre todo al triunfo del primer single ‘Don’t Start Now’, que sigue manteniéndose en las listas de todo el mundo durante meses, y posteriormente llegaron los singles ‘Physical’ ‘Break My Heart’ y ‘Hallucitate’.
‘Levitating’ es, como ya decíamos, el 5º single oficial que se lanza y se considera una canción dance, electro-disco, pop-funk, power pop y rock espacial, con un toque de pop y R&B de los noventa, y elementos de retro y de los ochenta. Incluye un rap de Lipa, influenciado por Blondie y líricamente tiene varias referencias al espacio exterior que describen un amor que está escrito en las estrellas. Ahora en la nueva versión con DaBaby espera obtener más éxito si cabe.
