El trío británico Clean Bandit y el rapero estadounidense de moda Iann Dior nos traen ‘Higher’, su single en colaboración acompañado del correspondiente videoclip.
‘Higher’ ha sido compuesta por Clean Bandit junto a iann dior y Dan Smith de Bastille, contando en la producción con Grace y Jack de la banda junto a Mark Ralph (Years & Years o Sigala). El tema se da a conocer con un videoclip rodado en Jamaica bajo la dirección de la propia banda, que cuenta la historia de un náufrago interpretado por el propio rapero, hasta que un barco de fiesta lo rescata en el mar con unos invitados muy especiales.
Es el nuevo single que Clean Bandit publica medio año después del lanzamiento del tema ‘Tick Tock’ junto a Mabel y 24kGoldn, siendo otro adelanto del que será el próximo y tercer álbum de estudio del grupo, que saldrá en este año 2021.
Clean Bandit se formó en 2009 y está compuesto por Grace Chatto y los hermanos Patterson, Jack y Luke. Su sonido mezcla la música clásica con bases house y dance, definiéndose como una banda que acostumbran a llamar a colaboradores vocales para crear un sonido muy particular y con videoclips casi siempre dirigidos por ellos mismos. Entre los artistas que han colaborado con el trío están: Marina, Demi Lovato, Jess Glynne, Anne-Marie, Sean Paul, Zara Larsson, Julia Michaels, Luis Fonsi o Ellie Goulding. Han publicado hasta ahora dos albums, «New eyes» (2014) y «What is love?» (2018), con éxitos como ‘Rather be’, ‘Rockabye’, ‘Symphony’, ‘Solo’ o ‘I miss you’.
Michael Ian Olmo, conocido como Iann Dior, es un rapero estadounidense nacido en Puerto Rico viene lanzando varios singles y colaboraciones desde el año pasado, con temas como ‘Emotions’ y ‘Gone Girl’, pero sobre todo por el grán éxito en el año pasado del single ‘Mood’ con 24kGoldn.
