La cantante Natalie Imbruglia presenta ‘On My Way’, otro adelanto en su regreso al panorama musical tras 6 años y que viene acompañado del siguiente videoclip. El tema estará incluido en su próximo álbum, «Firebird», previsto a publicarse para el próximo mes de septiembre.
‘On my way’ fue compuesta junto a Eg White, con quien Natalie compuso su éxito de 2005 ‘Shiver’, y coproducida con MyRiot, siendo esta nueva canción la continuación de los singles que conocimos previamente: ‘Build it better’ y ‘Maybe it’s great’, lanzadas en los últimos meses. «Es una de mis canciones favoritas del álbum y fue coescrita con el increíble Eg White. ¡Es una canción sobre fluir! Esas mañanas que te despiertas y te sientes invencible. No puedo esperar a cantarla en vivo», comentó Natalie Imbruglia.
«Firebird», será su nuevo álbum el cuál ha sido compuesto en una variedad de ubicaciones internacionales junto a artistas y productores como Albert Hammond Jr de The Strokes, Romeo Stodart de The Magic Numbers, KT Tunstall, Eg White,, Luke Fitton, Fiona Bevan, Rachel Furner , entre otros.«Hacer este álbum ha sido una experiencia muy profunda y satisfactoria. Natalie Imbruglia se hizo muy popular, después de trabajar durante años en la serie más famosa de su país («Neighbours»), a finales los 90’s con el exitoso single ‘Torn’ de su álbum debut «Left of the middle» (1997) que vendió 7 millones de copias. Su nuevo disco será el primero desde «Male» (2015) y el primero de nuevas composiciones desde «Come to life» (2009), para el que contó con la colaboración de Coldplay.
