Las cantantes estadounidenses Lizzo y Cardi B presentan ‘Rumors’, su primer single en colaboración que viene acompañado del siguiente videoclip y que ha causado polémica en redes sociales.
‘Rumors’ ha sido compuesta por Torae, Theron Thomas, Nate Mercereau, Ricky Reed, Cardi B & Lizzo y contando con producción de Ricky Reed, en una canción en la que ironizan sobre los comentarios despectivos de sus ‘haters’ y a algunos medios, repasando y contestando a algunas de las habladurías que se dicen sobre ellas. «Es un tema sobre gente hablando mierda, esparciendo rumores y creando conceptos erróneos», ha comentado Lizzo.
El vídeo musical, dirigido por Tanu Munio, nos traslada directamente al Olimpo con imágenes de ambas cantantes como diosas en actitud de empoderamiento femenino, mostrando a Lizzo bailando de forma burlesca y a una embarazada Cardi B sentada en un lujoso trono. Lleva acumulado más de 13 millones de visualizaciones en pocos días.
Este es el primer sencillo oficial de Lizzo desde 2019, cuando lanzó su álbum «Cuz I Love You», que incluía los éxitos de ‘Juice’, ‘Truth Hurts’ y ‘Good As Hell’, siendo nominado a varios Grammys. Actualmente se encuentra preparando su nuevo disco, con productores como Mark Ronson.
