El productor californiano Finneas, hermano de la cantante Billie Eislish, presenta ‘A concert six months from now’ acompañado del correspondiente videoclip. Es el segundo anticipo de «Optimist», su álbum debut como cantante.
‘A concert six months from now’ ha sido compuesta y producida al 100% por el propio artistas. «Optimist», su álbum debut como cantante, está previsto que se publique el próximo 15 de octubre e incluirá 13 pistas. Como primer adelanto ya publicó en 2020 el single ‘What they’ll say about us’.
El vídeo musical, dirigido por Sam Bennett, se grabó en el Hollywood Bowl de Los Ángeles, que también fue el escenario elegido para la película «Happier than ever: A love letter to Los Angeles» de su hermana, que se estrenará el 3 de septiembre. En el audiovisual podemos ver al compositor recorriendo el famoso recinto subiéndose a los asientos vacíos mientras lidia con el recuerdo de un viejo amor.
Finneas ya era muy conocido en la industria musical gracias a su trabajo como coescritor y productor del repertorio de su hermana Billie Eilish, la cuál está de máxima actualidad por la publicación el pasado 30 de julio de su segundo álbum, «Happier than ever». Al igual que ella, despliega un humor oscuro y un gran sentido de la autocrítica como mensaje central de su música. En 2019 se estrenó con un EP llamado Blood Harmony, además de otras colaboraciones destacadas como ‘Till Forever Falls Apart’ (2021), junto a Ashe. Por otra parte, ha compuesto para artistas como Halsey, Camilla Cabello, Tove Lo, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber y Kid Cudi, entre otros.
