La cantante estadounidense de raíces albanesas Ava Max presenta ‘Everytime i cry’, su nuevo single que llega acompañado del correspondiente videoclip. Es un probable primer anticipo de su segundo álbum.
‘EveryTime I Cry‘ es una canción eletropop compuesta por Amanda Ava Koci (Ava Max), Caroline Pennell, Henry Walter, Lauren Aquilina y Sean Myer, contando con producción de este último y su habitual Cirkut. La letra describe el efecto del empoderamiento de las mujeres durante situaciones difíciles y es la primera (sin contar la navideña ‘Christmas without you’) que lanza al margen de su álbum debut del año pasado.
El video musical ha sido codirigido por ella junto a Charlotte Rutherford, mostrando a la cantante en el desierto que se transforma en un paisaje exuberante con sus lágrimas. Sobre el mismo, Ava comentó que «quería contar una historia que haga que el espectador me vea convertir la debilidad en fuerza», añadiendo sobre la canción : “Después de cada lucha que atravesamos, nos volvemos un poco más fuertes. Y cada lágrima derramada no es en vano, sino que se convierte en un río de esperanza”
La también compositora Ava Max se ha posicionado como artista internacional pop en poco tiempo y ha alcanzado varios #1 en las listas de todo el mundo con singles propios y colaboraciones (entre ellas una con el cantante español Pablo Alborán, llamada ‘Tabú’). “Heaven & Hell” (2020) fue su primer álbum, un disco que llegó después de dos años de promoción de numerosos diferentes singles individuales, incluyendo el éxito mundial ‘Sweet but psycho‘ y otros temas como ‘Kings & Queens’ , ‘Torn’, ‘So Am I’, ‘OMG What’s Happening’ o ‘‘My Head and My Heart’.
