Diana Ross presenta ‘Thank you’ su nuevo single de regreso al panorama musical en 15 años, acompañado del correspondiente videoclip. Es el primer adelanto, producido por Troy Miler, de su próximo álbum de igual título que está previsto para el próximo otoño.
La cantante estadounidense Diana Ross, a sus 77 años de edad, vuelve con un disco de agradecimiento «Thank you», que se pondrá a la venta a partir del 10 de septiembre. La artista grabó este primer álbum en 15 años en el estudio de su casa, involucrándose en la composición de las 13 canciones que lo forman.
Al respecto ha comentado: «Os dedico estas canciones de amor a todos vosotros, mis oyentes. Escucha mi corazón en la voz. Deja que el amor te guíe». En los créditos de composición y producción aparecen jóvenes músicos como Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith) y Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift). Es el primer disco de estudio de Ross desde «I Love You» de 2006 y realizará una gira de agradecimiento en 2022 por Reino Unido.
Diana Ross empezó a despuntar en el mundo de la música en los años 60 como integrante del popular trío The Supremes y ha alcanzado el #1 de las canciones más escuchadas en cuarenta ocasiones en diferentes países. Entre sus éxitos destacan ‘My endless love’ (con Lionel Ritchie), ‘Theme from Mohogany’, ‘Upside down’, ‘Tenderness’, ‘Ain’t no mountain high enough’ o ‘Endless love’.
