La cantante Dua Lipa presenta el vídeo oficial de ‘Love again’, su nuevo single de su exitoso segundo álbum “Future Nostalgia» (2020), que presentó reeditado como «The Moonlight edition” hace pocos meses.
‘Love again’ ha sido producida por Stuart Price, Lorna Blackwood & KOZ y con composición de Irving Wallman, Max Wartell, Bing Crosby, Clarence Coffee Jr., KOZ, Chelcee Grimes & Dua Lipa. Un tema de arreglos de guitarra acústica y baterías cercanas al pop-rock que incluye el sample de ‘My woman’ (1932) de Al Bowlly, popularizado en los 90’s por White Town. El vídeo musical de estética country está dirigido por Lope Serrano bajo la productora Canadá, con los que ha trabajado durante todo este periodo de este disco.
La artista ha comentado: «Una relación no me había funcionado, y escribí esto cuando sentí que no había luz. Era una canción para mí, para darme un pequeño abrazo, y se trataba de tener la esperanza de volver a enamorarme. Ya teníamos estas hermosas cuerdas, entonces Clarence Coffee Jr. tuvo la genial idea de agregar una muestra de ‘Your Woman‘ de White Town. Eso realmente le dio a la canción el empujón que necesitaba, porque definitivamente necesitábamos un elemento más bailable. La escribí en un momento difícil, pero a veces las canciones te ayudan a salir de ciertas situaciones. Es como una terapia barata y creo que esta es mi canción favorita del disco.»
“Future Nostalgia – The Moonlight edition” se publicó el pasado mes febrero incluyendo, además del disco original, el single inédito ‘We’re Good’ más otros temas nuevos así colaboraciones ya conocidas y no incluidas anteriormente, como ‘Fever’ con la francesa Angèle, ‘Prisoner’ con Miley Cyrus, ‘Un día (One Day)’ junto a J Balvin & Bad Bunny y el remix de ‘Levitating‘ con DaBaby. Esta fue la 3ª versión del disco porque ya existía una reedición del álbum que recoge “Club Future Nostalgia”, el álbum de remezclas comisariado por DJ The Blessed Madonna con artistas como Madonna o Gwen Stefani y samples invitados.
Dua Lipa, nacida y criada en Londres de padres albanokosovares, firmó con Warner Records en 2015 y lanzó su debut homónimo en 2017, que contó con los exitosos sencillos ‘Be The One’, ‘IDGAF’, ‘Hotter Than Hell’ y su primer UK #1 con ‘New rules’. Su segundo álbum de estudio aclamado internacionalmente “Future Nostalgia” fue publicado a principios de 2020 e incluyó los exitosos sencillos ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Break My Heart ‘,’Physical’ o ‘ Levitating’ y del que lleva vendido 3,5 millones de copias. La artista se encuentra ya preparando su 3º álbum del que ha indicado será totalmente diferente.
