La cantante británica Anne-Marie y el ex-Boy Direction Niall Horan presentan ‘Don’t play‘ , su primera colaboración con el siguiente videoclip. Es otro adelanto del próximo álbum de la artista, «Theraphy», previsto para julio de este año.
‘Our song’ ha sido compuesta por Tom Barnes, Plested, Pete Kelleher, Niall Horan, Ben Kohn & Anne-Marie y con producción de TMS, en un tema que habla de cómo dos personas que han estado unidas por una relación sentimental deciden tomar caminos separados, pero al escuchar esa canción vuelven a acordarse el uno del otro. «Estuvimos un día en el estudio y es una persona tan talentosa que se puso a tocar la guitarra y creamos como unas tres canciones», comentó al respecto la artista. El vídeo musical ha sido dirigido por Michael Holy.
Anne-Marie comenzó a abrirse paso en el mundo de la música colaborando con artistas como Magnetic Man, Gorgon City, Raized by Wolves y sobre todo Rudimental, banda junto a la cual recorrió el mundo durante dos años. En 2015 la cantante lanzó el EP “Karate” y un año después tuvo su primer hit como solista con el sencillo ‘Alarm’. Tras colaborar con Clean Bandit en el éxito ‘Rockabye’, en 2018 lanzó su primer álbum, “Speak Your Mind”.
«Theraphy» será el segundo álbum de Anne-Marie, previsto en principio para finales del año pasado pero que fue retrasado por la pandemia. En él ha trabajado con Delacey y Oak por ejemplo. Hasta el momento ya había adelantado varios sencillos del mismo en los últimos meses que se espera estén incluidos: ‘Birthday’, ‘To be young’ (junto a Doja Cat) , ‘Don’t play’ (con KSI y Digital Farm Animals) y ‘Way too long’ (con Nathan Dawe y MoStack). Con su nuevo material intentará cosechar el mismo éxito que lograra con temas como ‘Ciao Adios’, ‘Rockabye’, ‘Friends’ o ‘2002’.
