Bebe Rexha presenta ‘Sacrifice’, su nuevo single acompañado del correspondiente videoclip. El tema llega después de la colaboración con Doja Cat, ‘Baby, I’m Jealous’, que publicó el pasado octubre.
‘Sacrifice‘ fue compuesto por Bebe Rexha, Pablo Bowman, LOSTBOY y BURNS, con producción de este último. El video musical ha sido dirigido por Christian Breslauer (Roddy Ricch’s “The Box”) y cuenta con la participación de las influencers Nava Rose, Guetcha y Princess Gollum. La estética de las imágenes nos traslada directamente a los años 90, ya que parece inspirarse en imágenes de películas fantásticas y de terror de aquella época con la artista acompañada de un grupo de mujeres vampiresas.
Tanto este nuevo tema como el single anterior, ‘Baby, I´m Jealous’ con Doja Cat, se espera que estén incluido en su segundo álbum, sin título ni fecha de lanzamiento aún, aunque ha revelado que Travis Barker toca la batería en el disco y que habrá una colaboración con Lil Uzi Vert. Bebe Rexha ha comentado: “Mi segundo álbum es el proyecto más exigente y a la vez satisfactorio que he tenido. Compuse, grabé, reescribí, regrabé y luego repetí el proceso para ofrecer un álbum que refleje de verdad quién soy como cantante, compositora y, lo más importante, como artista. Quiero que los oyentes reciban una muestra del del pop junto con elementos de rock y hip-hop. Es importante para mí que mi música continúe reflejando los temas de vulnerabilidad, el ciclo de la autodestrucción y autosuperación y el empoderamiento femenino.”
Bebe Rexha, estadounidense de origen albanés, saltó a la fama por colaborar en el sencillo ‘Take Me Home’ del grupo de disc jockeys Cash Cash. Luego se hizo más conocida por colaborar en la canción ‘Me, Myself & I’ con el rapero G-Eazy (top 10 de la lista Hot 100 de Billboard USA) y en el sencillo ‘Hey Mama’ de David Guetta. Con posterioridad fue lanzando varios singles y os EPs llamados “All Your Fault”, hasta que en 2018 publicó su álbum debut “Expectations”, con singles destacados como ‘I’m A Mess’ y ‘I Got You’. También ha destacado por sus colaboraciones: con J Balvin y David Guetta en ‘Say my name’, con Jax Jones en ‘Harder’, Rita Ora, Cardi B y Charli XCX en ‘Girls’, The Chainsmokers en ‘Call you mine’ o con Martin Garrix en ‘In the name of love’.
