La cantante británica Birdy presenta ‘Loneliness’, su nuevo single acompañado del siguiente videoclip. Es el segundo anticipo de su nuevo álbum “Young heart”, que se publica el próximo mes de abril.
‘Loneliness‘ es una balada que ha sido compuesta por Birdy junto a Jamie Scott, con producción de James Ford. El vídeo musical ha sido dirigido por la galardonada directora Sophie Muller, con una excelente fotografía en el que la cantante es la protagonista absoluta. Es el siguiente single tras ‘Surrender’, lanzado el mes pasado.
“Young Heart”, su cuarto álbum de estudio y el primero en 5 años, se lanzará el 30 de abril y viene precedido por el EP “Piano Sketches” lanzado en noviembre del año pasado. Para su realización, Birdy viajó a Nashville y los Angeles para inspirarse, con gran parte del álbum escrito y producido con Daniel Tashian e Ian Fitchuk. Las canciones de su nuevo disco, según se ha anunciado, “luchan entre la luz y la oscuridad, entre la extensión del espacio y el interior del ambiente doméstico”.
La también compositora Birdy ganó el concurso de talentos musicales “Open Mic UK” en 2008 con tan sólo 12 años. Posteriormente inició su carrera musical en 2011 con una versión de la canción ‘Skinny Love’ de Bon Iver, que triunfó en Europa y Australia. Ese mismo año publicó su álbum debut, “Birdy”, al que siguieron “Fire Within” (2013, con el éxito ‘Wings’) y “Beatiful lies” (2016).
