Ya tenemos las imágenes del nuevo videoclip de la cantautora estadounidense Lady Gaga, ‘911’ , incluida en su sexto álbum de estudio, «Chromatica» (2020). Fue escrita por ella con apoyo de Justin Tranter, BloodPop y Madeon, y producida por estos dos últimos con Ben Rice. De acuerdo con Gaga y BloodPop, su letra narra la dependencia al consumo de medicamentos para tratar diferentes trastornos. La canción, uno de los temas preferidos de sus seguidores de este largo trabajo, fue lanzada como tercer sencillo del álbum, tras ‘Stupid Love’ y ‘Rain On Me’, el 18 de septiembre de 2020 bajo el sello de Interscope Records.
Con este nuevo vídeo, tiene el reto de superar al vídeo de ‘Stupid Love’, (lleva ya sumado un total de 117 millones de reproducciones en Youtube) y al de ‘Rain On Me’, junto a Ariana Grande, (ha conseguido más de 214 millones en tan solo tres meses).
En palabras de la artista, el vídeo dirigido por Tarsem refleja la dualidad inexplicable que siente durante sus ataques de pánico. Esto es lo que ha comentado Gaga en sus redes sociales: “Este cortometraje es muy personal para mí, explica mi experiencia con la salud mental y la forma en que la realidad y los sueños pueden interconectarse para formar héroes dentro de nosotros y a nuestro alrededor”.
Esta canción ya fue presentada en directo durante la pasada actuación de Lady Gaga en la última edición de los «MTV Video Music Awards» pero es ahora cuando arranca la promoción con el estreno de su correspondiente videoclip oficial.
